Can I have your profession? You just wander the earth, do it on your own pace and make analog maps, that are no longer required in this day&age. You experience no real jeopardy or pressure. Just blanc book of cheques for travel and expences

Are there any practical benefits from the maps you draw which would outweigh let’s say a mass printed political map of the world? Or is this now mainly for the aesthetic and feel these days?
