More of this this that woman should be the butt of the legal aid scourger jokes

Stories like this are why we must keep local newspapers alive.

Allegedly stole a hairdryer yet could afford cosmetic surgery? Wild stuff.

Such a shame as she was hoping to leave it all behind her

    6. If true, that’s very cheeky of her butt I don’t want to make any ass-umptions so I’ll need to see before and after pictures.

It all innocently starts with throwing an advocado into the weekly shop, and is a slippery notion filled slope down to butt-lifts

Fair play to the judge for doing the maths on that one. There’s something beautifully Irish about the legal aid system having to explicitly draw a line at butt lifts. The markings on the skin in that photo make it look like someone was planning to build a shed on her back rather than anything cosmetic. Hope the hairdryer was at least a decent Dyson, not some knock-off nonsense.

Welp, now everyone knows she had a butt lift, I’d say it will be an interesting conversation in court next time she appears… lol

“The woman who cannot be identified, by order of the judge, had been due in court to answer to the offence of the theft of a €200 of a supersonic hairdryer from Fletcher’s Hardware, Link Road, Portarlington on 2 January last year.”

Portarlington is the only correct setting for a story like this.

Legal aid needs serious reform. We’re being made a mockery by people who don’t fear courts, and a legal profession that sees this societal decline as one big cash cow.

3 years bank statements, 3 years payslips, 3 years social welfare. A full statement of assets including home and car. If you have an income over €44,000 annualised, or greater than €440,000 net worth, you don’t get legal aid and you have to repay everything you’ve received. Incomes between €22,000 and €44,000 (and their same pro rata wealth band) get partial legal aid.
