With that amount of water in the pan might as well call it khaslama. Also that’s pita not lavash.

I would still smash though. Get a nice cucumber and mint yogurt dip going. Spread it on the pita and fill it with chicken.

Judging by this person’s post history, it seems like they really enjoy trying to make dishes from cultures that aren’t their own. Even though this isn’t khorovats and lavash to the exact definition, let’s cut this person some slack and appreciate them trying to engage with Armenian culture through food.

I personally think the food looks great and I hope you try more Armenian recipes! May I suggest lahmajune?

You might’ve even made better khorovats than the original ngl i could tell you seasoned it way better than half of these mfs who cook here

A for effort. A+ for that adorable flag.

You made it work with what you had, not everyone has a tonir and mangal

While I don’t see neither khorovats nor lavash on the photo — nice try!

I wouldn’t call this khorovats. More like jarko without potatoes.
