I think this is very good news for us, because we can’t rely on one country that can just cut off gas or put sanctions for stupid reasons
It would be great news, if idiot nakhkins didn’t give 30 year total monopoly on gas import and distribution to Gazprom Armenia, which is controlled 100% by Gazprom Russia. So unless Russia breaches the contract, like turning gas off in the winter, or tries to unilaterally raise price (which has some restrictions in the contract), Gazprom has to sign off. And they specifically limited the size of the pipeline from Iran.
So, gas from Iran is most likely a no, unless Russia breaches and we win in Stockholm arbitration and can nationalize Gazprom Armenia.
Oil refinery project would be nice, but I don’t even know how sanctions impact those prospects.
