    Alla ricerca di un server dedicato in Lussemburgo, ma senza successo :-(


    CIAO. Per la mia azienda cerco offerte di server dedicati in Lussemburgo. La società di hosting deve avere sede in Lussemburgo (non negli Stati Uniti, in Canada, in Germania, ecc.).

    Ne ho trovati alcuni su Google e li ho contattati. Ma tutti o non hanno risposto alle mie e-mail o non hanno richiamato o non hanno nemmeno risposto al telefono (durante l’orario lavorativo). Alcuni hanno siti Web obsoleti e difettosi, altri non offrono supporto tecnico 24 ore su 24, 7 giorni su 7, ecc. Sono un po’ preoccupato di ospitare servizi e dati critici in tali luoghi.

    Qualcuno può consigliarmi un hoster con sede in Lussemburgo che offra server dedicati (solo piccoli e regolari) con un buon supporto tecnico, disponibilità e comportamento aziendale professionale?

    Nessuna macchina virtuale, nessun housing, nessuna co-ubicazione. Solo server dedicati.

    Apprezzerei qualsiasi consiglio 🙂

      Can’t help with your question (using a web host in Germany) but you made me look at [root.lu](http://root.lu) and their website looks like it hasn’t been refreshed since they were popular in the late 2000s.

      Is it the company or the datacenter that need to be based in Luxembourg? Or both?

      Just a side note as those questions are often the result of legacy requirements or misunderstandings, I am not aware of current official requirements mandating the use of Luxembourg hosting companies or datacenters.

      They also provide servers and hosting services

      Is it one server or more ? You need tier 4 SLA ? Internet redundancy ? Do you need any financial certifications PCIDSS for instance or else ? …
      Does renting 1/2 rack ( around 20ish U) suits your need ?
      I am unsure , but renting one server is not yet mainstream in Luxembourg :/

      What specs (CPU, network, RAM, storage etc.) and quantity do you seek for? SLA? Replication? HA? Backup? NAS/SAN?

      Would a company called “econocom” work for you? Not sure exactly if they can 100% meet your needs but def luxembourg company hosting.

      At this point in time, you’ll have a hard time finding dedicated servers anywhere due to the hardware/semiconductor shortage.

      We’re renting dedicated servers from Conostix. Their website also hasn’t been updated in ages (as has ours 😔) but they can fulfill your requirements. They host at Luxconnect 1 (Bettembourg) and 2 (Bissen/Roost), so it’s Tier IV.

      24/7 SLA will cost you of course.
