Eric claims that Pashinyan’s speech last week was to announce the withdrawal from the CSTO, but foreign pressure or the events happening in Armenia made him change or postpone that decision. What do you think?
I don’t know if that’s true or not, but it’s becoming more and more costly, security and PR wise, to stay in CSTO.
You can’t go and publicly state that Belarus and Russia basically helped Azerbaijan in 2020, which Lukashenko admitted to himself. Also admit that Russia is openly meddling in toppling the government, and then say “but we are staying”.
No, Russia can’t hurt us. We lived through the 90’s and we will live through this too. If someone’s life comforts being thrown off schedule a bit is more important than our nation and independence, that’s their problem.
