Ciao a tutti! Mi sono trasferito nel nuovo appartamento e vedo due prese internet a muro. Con i nomi 1.1 e 1.2. Ho Elisa Home Internet e il mio router Wi-Fi è collegato tramite cavo alla presa con nome 1.1, se provo a inserire il cavo nella presa 1.2 Internet non funziona. Per cosa posso collegarmi alla presa 1.2? Lo screenshot serve per capire cosa intendo

It probably isn’t connected to anything.
There is probably the corresponding connectors in the electric cabinet of the apartment, and from there the sockets can be connected.
Internet (or ethernet connectors) does not work like electricity where you “split it”. You have to get a router, connect that to the 1.1 and connect what ever you want to that router. The 1.2 will be useless empty space.
