Ciao a tutti, ho notato che qui ci sono un sacco di persone esperte di tecnologia, che potrebbero darvi un piccolo consiglio veloce. Ho già letto un thread qui (di circa un anno fa) che parlava di Telenet e di non usare MAI il WiFi dal modem Telenet stesso. Ho un abbonamento da 1 GBPS a Telenet e utilizzo il loro modem F@ST3896. Al momento sto riscontrando problemi con il WiFi e ricevo solo circa 100 Mbps (a volte 200 Mbps max). Sicuramente non è male e non mi aspetto di raggiungere 1 Gbps con il WiFi, ma non appena 2 di noi iniziano a trasmettere in streaming, diventa davvero lento. Quindi volevo cercare di fare qualcosa al riguardo. Ho visto persone suggerire di utilizzare piuttosto il router ubiquity. Immagino uno di questi? Collego semplicemente il cavo Ethernet dal modem al router e voilà? Grazie in anticipo!

2. It depends on the house surface, configuration and materials used for the construction. It also depends on where your AP will be located and whether there are bearing walls or concrete floors etc… (for instance if the equipment is installed on the edge of the house VS in the middle…).
3. I don’t use Ubiquity equipment so I cannot answer (I’m a former network engineer and use other hardware) but the router you are showing does not include wifi access point feature, it’s only fixed copper (RJ45) and fiber (SFP+) routing.
I suggest you look at the “wifi integrated” versions or you need to buy an access point (https://eu.store.ui.com/eu/en/collections/unifi-wifi-flagship-compact) which you’d then plug into the router but then there are some POE considerations, cable etc. I think for someone without network knowledge the “wifi integrated” is likely to be more suitable.
