I just want to say, that at this point I am watching Chibukhchyan for entertainment/hate watching/to hear the freshest conspiracy theories. For every serious or probable thing he or one of his BFFs (Karen and Armen H.) say, he/them also say five conspiracy theories or unverified facts, that get proven false within 24 hours. Chibukhchyan has proven himself to be terrible at reading comprehension. Maybe it’s because he isn’t that fluent in English, but the dude tried to pass a Danish rag tabloid as a serious publication, yet bad mouthed the Intelligence Online report, because he didn’t like what they said. He reads the materials in Russian and Armenian translations, something he scolds Armenian press for, but does it himself.

The reason I am posting this, is so the folks know what the main beef between the pro-West Pashinyan opposition and pro-West anti Pashinyan opposition is. This started with the whole border demarcation process, where Armen came online and said that the clause about Armenia and Azerbaijan finding another consensus in regards to borders can overwrite Almaty, is basically Aliyev’s way of not following Almaty. He also said that this whole process is not supported by the West. Nearly all of his predictions came out false in that regard, but he still likes to twist facts or misrepresent things, to prove himself correct. He still gets some info right about Armenia’s internal issues, like the corruption and shady dealings and abuse of power stuff, though.

Now, the two Armens are basically saying that this whole srbazan thing was a Pashinyan setup theater. There were no real threats from Russia, no car columns with Russian Armenian criminal elements, no money being sent from Russia to finance this, and that people like Khurshudyan who acted like Pashinyan’s propaganda ambassadors, now got owned, and sold out by Pashinyan, because the NSS and the Prosecutor’s office said that Bagrat isn’t a Russian agent. Also the Central Bank of Armenia said that they didn’t detect any large ruble intake in the border region exchanges. Both, claims were made by Khurshudyan.

While I think these two are basically pushing conspiracy theories at this point, I do believe that Pashinyan is trying to use the whole “ex regime or us” dichotomy to win the next elections.

I think even a child can tell this whole thing is controlled by Russia, and I am not sure why the NSS gave the clean slate to the srbazan, maybe because they don’t want to look incompetent or maybe because they are not fully cleansed either.

However, if you can muster the nerves to watch this, it’s a good source of what talking points exist in today’s political climate.
