For a little piquant flavor, I added some scallions: white rounds into the mashed potatoes and beans. Green scallions as garnish. Also a shake of red pepper flakes and maybe a half teaspoon of smoked paprika. Really quick and easy dish. Highly recommend. Slava Ukraini!
