      Very little. Besides the English I only get a few short passages where I’m like “that PROBABLY mostly means..”
      But the vast majority is gibberish to me.

      Icelandic, and the Old Norse it is very similar to, are very different languages from Modern Danish.

      It’s easier because it’s talking about something US related I think.

      Maybe 20%, it’s kind of on the level of French for me (which I don’t speak and never had any instruction in yet I can still make out some meaning from it, especially written).

      You can kind of guess some words like “sjoherforing” probably has something to do with naval command, but otherwise not.
