It looks like Russia has started the Sumy assault that’s been predicted for a few weeks now. Hopefully with recent developments, Ukraine can crush the assault before they gain a foothold.

I do hope this is the Sumy assault.
Based on the Kharkiv assault this should be even more of a failure. Sumy’s got better defences and Ukraine has permission to strike in Russia now. It’s not going to be easy, but these are the one sided attritional battles Ukraine needs to beat Russia.
If Russia wants to escalate this further, then Biden should allow the use of American weapons on all military targets on Russian territory.

I really wish they completely lift the ban on weapon restrictions so Ukraine could stop them before they cross the border
