During a previous trip, we met a 92-year-old woman at a market who could only buy 2 eggs because she didn’t have more money. We then did extensive grocery shopping for her and made it a day to remember.
In the meantime, we have visited the egg lady several times. She is now 93 years old and unfortunately, her health has deteriorated significantly. She also suffers from Parkinson’s disease. We took her outside and did grocery shopping together. Afterwards, we went to the pharmacy for her so she has enough medication for the coming months. We continue to support her.

My dad had Parkinson’s and at least he had me and an nursing home that made an effort to take care of him… 😢
