    2. Not flood your bathroom.

Seriously: get a dehumidifier (I believe you can also rent them from Baumarkt for a few days) and pray to your deity of choice.

Some of those type of doors are made of fiberboard (so-called MDF) rather than wood. Essentially, they are made of cardboard. Once water soaks into them, they expand and go soggy like wet paper does. They are then basically ruined. A new door, suitable for a bathroom, is needed.

    4. First of all, maybe remove all the water, and try to let it dry for a while?

And then it probably depends on who the owner of the door is. If it won’t close after it is thoroughly dry, the excess part could maybe just be filed down to make it fit again. May not be pretty though, and a landlord will probably want to have it replaced. Depending on what caused the water damage, some insurance may also pay for that.

Edit: Also possibly simply resetting the position in the door frame may already help, like adjusting it at the hinges with washers, but it’s impossible to tell that from a picture.

Hey there in Germany the doors are easily removable. Just oil the hinges then wrench it upwards and out. Lay it down and (when dry) plane the bottom edge until it’s a couple of mms shorter.
