    2. Would you like to move to these cities? If so, it is difficult to find an apartment in Munich and if so, it is unaffordable. Schweinfurt and Deggendorf are provincial towns. From Schweinfurt you still have the option of going to Bamberg, Würzburg or Nuremberg. Deggendorf is the deepest province of Lower Bavaria and also has a campus in Cham, Upper Palatinate. Cham is on the German-Czech border but is also a province.

Aschaffenburg is located in Bavaria on the border with Hesse. I don’t know exactly what life is like there. was only there for a visit.

I might have an unpopular opinion and might get downvotes, but I wouldn’t care at all about the name, course or time variables. I would care about the place only and I would check demographics / crime rate in those cities. A homogeneous low-crime smaller city might be more rich and vibrant in experience than a bigger one that is diverse.

    4. These a very different degrees. Shouldn’t you narrow it down to what you want to study first ? Keep in mind that most German companies don’t really care if you went to one of the big TUs or a smaller provincial college.

Heilbronn, or Saarbrücken – Everywhere else, cost of living is completely unaffordable, and even those places aren’t super cheap.

The Munich places will most likely give you the best combination of well-known uni and good quality. However, mind that the differences in Germany are not as large as say in the US or in India. What matters more is the difference between “applied school” (=FH) and “university” (=Uni) and you should consider which content matters more to you.
