Dear Reddit,

First, we would like to thank you for incredible generosity during our last fundraiser, which raised enough money for us to buy crucially needed equipment.  We were recently redeployed to another section of the front – a real hot spot – and the tactical situation is even more demanding.  This is why you have our deep thanks for your support – we really do feel it here.

This week, we were offered the “$2 Tuesday” and so we come to you with an ask – **we are fundraising for a new thermal monocular to replace some equipment that has taken punishment on the front.**  Nothing too fancy – just the kind you might buy for night hunting.  Let’s just say we also like to hunt at night.

If you have any expertise on such matters, we are looking at the Guide TK631 as we have experience with this unit.  This kind of equipment is quite important in our line of business.  If you have other or better suggestions at or near the same price, please let us know!
