That should bring the total numbers of RCH155 up to 54. Sadly the first will not arrive until the end of the year at the earliest.
The most noteable feature they boast, besides the remote controlled turret, reducing the crew needet to just 2 (compared to 5 for the PHZ2000), is that instead of “shoot and scoot”, they can engange their targets while already on the go. Making it much easier to avoid any counterfire, be it artillery or drones.
These SPGs are pretty neat. You only need a crew of two dudes. A commander and a driver. The commander can plot targets and let the gun do the work. While the driver can listen to tunes and drive along.
It’s not like a traditional SPG where you need a crew of 5. One dude to call shots, one to plan plan trajectories, one to drive, and two dudes load and stack shells.
