The title Reuters chose might be too optimistic, though: “A “working time corridor” will be set up, allowing the train drivers to gradually reduce their working time to 35 hours per week **by 2029** while keeping wages at the same level.”
Glad to see that striking works and I think the deal is fair tbh. The workers get to eventually work 35 hours (if they want) and DB has a period where they can adjust to the reduced capacity.
