You heard the men. AA and aviation. At least these are the things we hear about all the time, that they’re coming. If these guys are calling for it, it has to mean it will make a difference.

Having the ammo be in the rear of the turret prevents the tank from tossing its turret when the ammo is detonated. It is a big target for drones, so it looks like they upgraded the back with more armor to protect against that. But even then, even if the ammo is hit the crew has a much greater chance of surviving.
Having said all that without air superiority, or air defenses, tanks of all types are just sitting ducks to aircraft.
I’m kind of surprised there aren’t *major* initiatives for more MANPADs, at least none that I heard about.
