In June, russia continues to lose artillery and special equipment* at a record pace. Losses in special equipment have already set a new record today, with the number now standing at 216 pieces. The previous record of 215 was set in March 2024. Artillery pieces are expected to follow suit within the next 2-3 days, with Ukraine having destroyed 1,062 so far this month. The current record stands at 1,160, set only last month.

Losses in armored personnel carriers (APCs), vehicles, and fuel tanks are no longer on track to hit new records. This is likely due to the slight abating of “meat waves” in June.

However, casualties remain very high on the russian side, averaging 1,169 per day this month. This is the second-highest monthly average of the entire war. The record of 1,256 was set in May 2024. This month, casualties will surpass 30,000, as was the case in May, within a few days.
