I don’t know if he was involved with the retreat from Adviivka, but that retreat and Severodonetsk was a shit show from what I read and saw.

Edit: He was involved with the Donetsk command. Adviivka is in the Donestsk Oblast while Severodonetsk is just north of that oblast. So it is not impossible for him to have been the one who organized and scheduled the retreat.
