My reading between the lines. US is using drones for intelligence and targeting info, being passed to Ukraine.
Russia has finally figured this out and is making this an open acknowledgement to US. “Back off or we shoot them down”.
However, international waters and airspace.
An announcement that the US/NATO might send manned escort fighters for neutral assets in international airspace or something might go a long way.
