Yea, but don’t think they are just big holes in a rock or some kind of paleolithic dens, there are actual houses and even shops excavated and located into the rocks.
One of the most famous examples are the houses and shops from Setenil de las Bodegas (Cádiz, shown below), and the houses and bars located at Sacromonte (Granada), for example.
