I predict this thread will be filled once more with people claiming this doesn’t actually mean anything and that Belgium is absolutely horrendous for the middle class.
Even though the evidence points to the exact opposite.
The big avantage of belgian is that they are homeowners.

In Belgium, the citizens are relatively rich (high average net worth), while the government is relatively poor (high debt to GDP). In the Netherlands and Germany for example, this is the reverse.
