Farò quasi qualsiasi cosa per conservare la macchina da cucire Singer antica di Yiayia, vecchia più di 100 anni (apparteneva a sua madre, che era anche lei una sarta). Sta vendendo la sua casa a Porto Rafti e ha bisogno che se ne vada. Io vivo a New York City. Vi sarei molto grata se qualcuno potesse consigliarmi sulla logistica per portare questo caro cimelio all’estero.
Quale servizio di spedizione dovrei usare? Sono in grado di imballarlo correttamente? La macchina è larga circa 74 cm, lunga 42 cm e alta circa 38,5 pollici. Fatemi sapere se altri dettagli sono utili.

Forgot to say I’m pretty sure it can be disassembled to some degree
Before contacting any courier, disassemble the unit and package it using plenty of protective material (eg, bubble wrap, styrofoam, etc), so that you have a final idea of the dimensions and weight.
Then you contact every courier and ask for prices with insurance, including in them.
For expensive items, you may place them in wooden crates, to protect them up to a point from impact damage.
Choose the one you feel is safer and better.
