It is not easy for veterans to return to civilian life. It’s easier when you have someone by your side. Someone who will understand and support. And this is not only the task of loved ones. The integration of veterans into society requires the efforts of each of us – our steps towards it.

I love these, so poignant & beautiful. My uncle was a Vietnam Vet, I think of him often, he was brave and humble but also had so much pain & trauma. Blessings to all, that they will find peace…
