Seeing this all the time makes me unhappy
I don’t think the ladder metaphor question is the issue.
The issue most people have with the ranking is labeling it “happiness” index instead of “contentness”.
After 4 years of living in Finland, I can confirm this is the richest I’ve ever been, the most comfortable quality-of-life-wise, and also the most depressed. 😃👍
