They contain Streusalz or Streusand in case it gets slippery in winter
They contain salt and/or gravel to spread on the platforms in icy conditions.
Streugutbehälter or Streugutboxen [https://www.winterdienst-profishop.de/handgeraete-streugutboxen/streugutbehaelter?p=1](https://www.winterdienst-profishop.de/handgeraete-streugutboxen/streugutbehaelter?p=1)
“Sie haben die Streupflicht und suchen nach einer guten Lagermöglichkeit für das Streugut? “
It’s obviously a sleeping pacman … shhh. When you wake them up they get quite salty
Fast travel system, but you’ll need a key.
Omg isn’t it weird that I am German going past these things daily and never wondered about them😂 thanks for the info!
These are entrances to underground party clubs.
Anyone saying it’s for salt and gravel or anything of this sort is a psyop from the government. They use it as a disposal for people who don’t pay the 60 Euros when they’re caught travelling “Schwarz”. Since they can’t afford this fee, alternatively they get thrown in there for future evil experiments on the effectiveness of toilet paper by testing new materials like sandpaper. Not somewhere I would like to be myself. So please buy a ticket before your journey or use the Deutschlandticket to use all the RE trains for only 49.99 Euro/m!
They contain FAX machines for train conductors, so that they can transmit info about train delays to the National Railway FAX center.
