Locals are likely freaking out. But perhaps hopeful the Russians will leave them alone.

It is so unfair how Ukraine wages war.
Instead of spreading their munitions out over an indiscriminate area of civilian carnage, they ruthlessly, cruelly focus their munitions with great care on whatever is most valuable to Russia’s warmaking capacity. In this case the Russian aircraft that would otherwise have been used for Russia’s own strategy of indiscriminate civilian carnage.
How can Russia’s time-honored, traditionalist approach to warfare compete with the cold, unrelenting rationality of Ukraine’s newfangled practices?
Not to mention, how unfair is it that Ukraine — by manipulatively only doing those things that fall within the bounds of the laws of war — gets all the international support, and Russia gets nothing but international condemnation for not staying within those bounds?
That is such a mean trick! There is no way Russia can compete.

Would it be alright to reach the nuclear plant and (if it gives electricity), permanently shutting that off to everyone it reaches?
