      Press Secretary Sabrina Singh in reply to a question on the situation in Kursk region: “At the end of the day, Ukraine is fighting for its sovereign territory, that its neighbour invaded.
      So, if we want de-escalate tensions, as we said from the beginning, the best way to do that, is putin can make that decision today, to withdraw troops from Ukraine.
      Ukraine is gonna do everything it can to continue to take back its sovereign territory. And that is what we see they are doing.
      When you are referring to this Kursk oblast, we are going to support Ukraine with the capabilities and systems that they need.
      We don’t feel that this is escalatory in any way. Ukraine is doing what it needs to do to be successful on the battlefield.”

      It would be very funny if all of Russia’s border states were to bring thousands of tanks to the border just to make sure that Russia protects them better and withdraws troops elsewhere. According to Russia’s logic, the Ukrainians would also be allowed to attack Russia from other countries, or am I making a mistake?

      Did she say Ukraine is “taking back it’s sovereign territory” in the Kursk region?

      Edit: I fully support Ukraine on taking the fight to RuZZia as it will be great for morale, and remind their population (hopefully) what war really is..

      Never expected to get so down voted for asking a simple question for what seems like a mistake on her response..

      They drive thru because they don’t want Russia -they want to get in, get out and go back to their own country. No need to loot, no need to conquer, no need to torture. Russia, get out of Ukraine, go home to your families…..

      How can there be escalation in a full invasion and daily shelling of civilians? Russia is already doing as much damage as they can to Ukraine. Russia doesn’t have anything left to threaten with, except nukes, which would result in their own hellish annihilation if they use them.

      finland and lithuania should give ukraine military access, just like belarus does for russia. its all cool and fair apparently.

      then they could launch military actions against Viborg and Königsberg, just to keep russian forces busy elsewhere
