One of the little talked about benefits of having crossed the international border, fully penetrating past the frontlines, wrecking checkpoints, and having complete free reign over many miles of settlements and roads, and causing evacuation panic, is that Ukraine could have and could still continue to be sending any number of undercover agents and saboteurs and spreading them all across Russia without detection. Hundreds even, without a need to pass through any heavily surveilled border/passport checkpoints.

Expect more “partisan” attacks deep into Russian territory for months and years to come for as long as this conflict continues.
