One of the pilots of the Tu-22M3 that crashed in the Irkutsk region has died. The three other crew members are in hospital with injuries of varying severity.

Ahhhh good the pilots were injured in the crash, so a double hit hardware and software….
Wonder if it was a malfunction or was it sabotage, everyone must be thinking this especially orc’s

*Well* then. When I first heard there was a crash, I was like “Ok, but how bad? Like, if it wasn’t shot down, that might just mean it had to ditch in a field. I wonder if it’s down for good or if it might just be down for a month or so.”
And… I’d say this answers that, lmao. I’m now *fairly confident* that this plane will not fly again.

Also guessing that this is a secondary explosion due to the proximity of what looks like emergency ground team in attendance.
