I once had a colleague at a client in 2015 or so who insisted on playing Studio Brussel in the background. I still remember the 4 different R&B songs they played all day long and the children (child labor?) who talked between the terrible songs. I was actually happy when they were interrupted for yet another commercial.
It’s not my kinda music but I have a friend who liked Studio Brussel in the past and he now listens to Radio Willy. I don’t know if it’s any good, I never listened to it.
Why would it be weird for Studio Brussel to cover Tomorrowland? It’s been crowned best festival in the world multiple times. Studio Brussel is a commercial radio station in Belgium. They want listeners, as much as possible. Broadcasting part of Tomorrowland might attract lots of new listeners, specially from The Netherlands as they are Dutch too.
Complaining about how StuBru is in decline is the “tell me you’re old without saying you’re old” of people under 50
Could it be that you’re just getting older and you’re not the target audience any more? Stubru used to be my jam too, but now it’s chingel changel lawaai to me and I prefer Radio 1.
