Everyone has forgotten the Kyiv days already when the Russians were intentionally targeting the press.
Well this is obvious.
russian lies and manipulation thrive in the dark. It will be much harder for them to BS about what is happening if journalists from the international community are there – especially any lies and propaganda that they want to spread outside of russia itself.
CNN had a reporter on Kursk as well. I’m surprised Putin hasn’t gone after him as well.
The italian embassy had to specify that in Italy journalists and media can decide autonomously how and where they do their reportages.
