17k artillery destroyed, with a pre-war estimate of 26k artillery, so 9k artillery “left”…
30d average is 52 artillery destroyed a day.
At this rate a total of 26k artillery pieces will have been destroyed in six months time.
This assumes Russia has been incapable of producing new artillery and the rate of destruction stays constant. But I’m expecting trouble for Russia fielding artillery at some point next year (6-12 months time) without outside supplies.
Although these Russian losses are incredibly high, it’s still 10x less the daily average of WW2 for them… Can’t imagine the meat waves back then…
