      Honestly, I believe this is only “good” strategy (good for Russia).

      The way I see the situation:

      – UA does not need this land.

      – UA does not even want this land.

      – UA does not have resources to spare, so they can not spread too far. The invasaion will slow and soon stop.

      – This action costs UA lots of resources, that could be used elsewhere.

      The main reason why they are there is to force Putin to pull the troops from UA and move them here. Because everybody believes he “has to, there is no other option”.

      But honestly – what if he just say “fck Kurs. Fck Belgorod” and just keeps ignoring it?

      If he just calls the UA bluff and keeps ignoring it, this operation wont bring UA anything. It will just cause them losses inside UA.

      And over time UA will be forced to pull the troops backs, otherwise this ocupation will be just wasting the resources.

      Considering lack of response, Im afraid this may be strategy.

      The Russian public support the invasion of Ukraine they don’t care about the half million young Russian soldiers who have died for nothing, let alone the poor people of Ukraine who have died .
