Russia doesn’t want to end the war. They want the Ukraine and West to surrender.

I actually disagree.

There is only 2 reasons a nation at war performs a large strike like this.

1. They do it from a position of strength to say “don’t even think you might have a chance now.” Sort of like the atomic bombs on Japan.

2. As a last ditch effort to save face or project strength when losing a war.

It has to be #2. Because the key indicator of which us which is in senario #1 if Russia was stronger than ever they would be crushing the Kursk offensive. But they aren’t. They’re losing ground in multiple places and have lost the naval battle.

My opinion is then that Russia right now is more desperate than it appears. Which means they do truly seek peace even if it’s a peace offer that we shouldn’t accept.

Also they wouldn’t have captured Novohrodivka same other towns over the past couple of days. Fuck Russians and anyone supporting them, scum of humanity.
