Today in Banja Luka, at the age of 87, Mara Malović died. Born in 1937 in the village of Međuvođe near Kozarska Dubica, she was captured aged 5 during the attack on Mt. Kozara. She was first taken to the Jasenovac extermination camp, then to the children’s concentration camps in Cerovljani, Sisak and Jastrebarsko.
It needs to be mentioned, she was Serbian born and raised and it was held in concentration camp by Croats
