So she promotes her long term aide, who in the course of many years working for her met, fell in love and married her sister.

While it’s clearly dubious and if he was smart, he should not take the job, the guy worked for her before he married her sister. It’s not that he was initially hired because he was her brother in law. It’s a bit of a lousy headline. Still. It’s a dumb thing to do.
