      Unfortunately, if Ukraine is wise, *there is a 0% chance of a Viper entering Russian airspace for the foreseeable future*. Expect them to behave as supersonic NASAMS—rolling around and sealclubbing Russian cruise missiles.

      Ukraine is still setting up distributed, austere operations with the jets—which I’m pretty sure is a world-first for the F-16. That’s an incredible challenge without flying into enemy airspace.

      Unless Ukraine gets JASSM (or can somehow adapt Storm Shadow onto the F-16), I can’t see them being used offensively for many, many months.

      Not an accurate translation. The ~~MoD~~ Chief of Armed Forces* said “The Netherlands does not object to the use of F-16’s in Russia.” (paraphrased)* The nuance matters, since the USA also gets a vote.

      Should put stickers on their equipment to know which came from where and lists for up to date green lights or restrictions…
