Americans now more likely to see Ukraine winning war after Kursk incursion, poll shows
A substantial 63% of Americans sympathize with Ukraine in its war with Russia, according to a recent YouGov survey. This overwhelming support comes despite varied opinions on which side is currently winning, with only 3% of respondents expressing sympathy for Russia.

Here’s the latest polling data
on support for Ukraine.

58% of Republicans, 62% of Independents and 76% of Democrats side with Ukraine.

As opposed to 4%, 2% and 1% (respectively) siding with Russia. General support amongst the American public is majority bipartisan. The “neither side” category is worrisome. But overall, no one actually sides with Russia over Ukraine.

The Kursk operation has definitely had a very positive effect on Ukraine’s public perception in the US and has definitely given it a boost. Which is great news, especially as that means no matter who becomes US president, they cannot ignore the positive public opinion about Ukraine in the majority of voters.

The opinion of Americans means almost nothing to the guys in the fight.
That’s great, now lets give them ammo and permission to use it.
