Now is the time to push Ukraine aid faster than ever.

The war will be over by then. One way or another.
It doesn’t help when western politicians claim that “Russia has already lost”. What does that mean? That Russia will eventually get tired and give up even if the west slow rolls military equipment? That Ukraine will have to surrender some territory but that’s ok?
As long as Russia’s military and economy hasn’t collapsed, Putin has no incentive to stop grinding away and lobbing missiles at Ukraine, and no incentive to accept anything other than complete Ukrainian capitulation.

Maybe everyone suddenly forget the EU pledged aid through 2027? I don’t know why anyone really thought it would arrive earlier than 2027. We’ve already seen NATO countries dragging their feet for almost two decades to spend 2% of GDP by 2024.
We can finally admit it’s been a joke that anyone would brag about the EU pledging more aid than the US.
