Sounds like a positive.
They need to integrate and it’ll expand their social circles and help all areas of their development.

Long overdue. Ukrainian children in Germany have always been required to attend German school, but they’ve still been slow to learn German.
It’s certainly not easy for them, but all Ukrainian families being hosted in foreign countries have to come to terms with the realities we’re all facing here.
Learning the various European languages and integrating socially will certainly be a positive for them later down the road.

At home learning is awful for early childhood development. Covid showed us this, there’s a whole generation of school children that are playing catch up with their reading comprehension and math skills. Integrating children in public schools is how families integrate into a society.
I only hope there are adequate facilities to teach these children and they aren’t stuck in giant classrooms left to their own devices, but this reads as a good thing.
