That is a bit of dishonest wording, indeed.

Look, fuck russia, but the articles with such bias only hurt Ukraine. There are enough atrocities to have no need of twisting facts like that.

Reuters made a far more objective coverage:

      [https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/russian-missile-strike-kills-41-people-ukraines-poltava-zelenskiy-says-2024-09-03/](https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/russian-missile-strike-kills-41-people-ukraines-poltava-zelenskiy-says-2024-09-03/)

Not clear how many of the killed were military students, but it seems like they are majority.

    2. Please don’t do this BS, it ain’t hospital. Tragedy nevertheless but lies hurts the cause

Yep. Complete misinformation here. Don’t try to hype on the tragedy.

I’m not an expert and could be mistaken, but after some research, it appears that the building hit was a Military Institute of Telecommunications and Informatization. This is primarily an educational institution rather than a military facility or training camp, contrary to what many are claiming. It’s not directly involved in active military functions. The students there are not yet combatants, they are considered future combatants. According to the Geneva Conventions, individuals who are training to become combatants, such as military academy students who are not actively participating in hostilities, are still considered civilians. They retain their civilian protection despite their future military role.

It was a legitimate target, not that it matters to Russia. They’ll hit anything they can.
