Soprattutto, JASSM darebbe all’Ucraina una fornitura costante di missili da crociera. JASSM può penetrare le difese aeree russe come nessun’altra cosa che l’Ucraina abbia ora, ma i numeri che potrebbero essere forniti sono il suo più grande vantaggio.

“Unlike anything Ukraine has now” is probably hyping it more up than reality. It’s more stealthy than Storm Shadow/SCALP which rarely gets intercepted. Pretty much in the same class, but with a bigger warhead and US has way more to give than France/UK so will be really useful.

2023 yearly production rate was at 500 units JASSM/LRASM with production increasing every year to reach over 1,000 per year.
US stockpile sitting at over 2,000 units.
These could be provided to ukraine in a virtually unlimited supply and keep the F-16s busy 24/7
Send them all and get them there before Russia can resupply itself with Iranian missiles. Do it now.
“We can’t use it because we don’t want our enemies to get the wreckage” is kinda lame for a weapon you fire at your enemies.
