15-year-old Volodymyr from the village of Radushne in the Kryvyi Rih region had a tumor in his heart for over a year. The boy underwent eight rounds of chemotherapy, and two surgeries to replace the affected areas and blood vessels.

Now, the doctors, together with the patient, have taken the final step – a bone marrow transplant. Despite the dangerous situation, the medical team completed the operation, saving the teenager’s life. This is yet another example of the courage and dedication of medical staff who continue to provide essential care to patients even under the threat of attacks during the ongoing war.

Volodymyr is currently recovering and feels great
