Just over a fortnight ago l was part of our private Aid group convoy to deliver 14 vehicles to Lviv from the UK, for front line units. When we do these convoys we always load the vehicles with as many requested supplies as possible. Among the items were refurbished Hydraulic Rescue Equipment, Respirators & medical supplies we had collected from various Fire & Rescue crews in the US.
I have just received a message from one of the stations we delivered the gear to asking us to get the message out that Blood donations are urgently needed, as apparently there were a lot of serious injuries from flying glass from when & where the missile struck.
Please get the message out,these donations are needed now.
