I had always been told that the Turkish were very intolerant of the LGBT community. Doesn’t seem to be the case.

The country is gradually returning to its roots as an absolute monarchy. Sadly, it’s as simple as that.

    4. Atatürk would turn in his grave if he knew that all the work he had put into the country was slowly being reversed

      Some context is necessary.

This is from 2021. It was done by local mayors in response to STOP ERDOGAN signs that were placed in New York City (i do not recall who put them).

      I’ve seen far worse.

It’s insane though, how many Turks live in Germany and keep going on about how great Türkyie is and vote for Erdogan, but never move there. I’m a Turkish-German. I love both my countries. But FUCK Erdogan.

I don’t know, man. Sounds kinda gay. Especially with the v shaped like a butt. Kinda gay, Erdogan.

Which is cool, didn’t know he swung that way.

It reminds me pretty much any election campaign like Trump, Mitsotakis etc. The only difference is that in this country there is only one party (maybe it reminds our country, Greece?)
