Mia sorella vive in Germania, io sono in America. Volevo mandarle un regalo e sto cercando di capire tramite quale Amazon dovrei ordinarlo: Amazon USA o Amazon Germania.
Se lo spedisco dal mio account Amazon statunitense, mi costa un po’ di più, ma arriva due settimane prima rispetto a se lo ordino tramite Amazon Germania.
Ma che dire dell’IVA? Se spedisco da Amazon USA, mia sorella dovrà pagarla?

You don’t want to order this from any non-EU Amazon as they will charge you high shipping, handling and custom fees. Get it from either Amazon.de or a local store.
I think the tax to be collected is already the tax. I don’t think she will have to pay any extra. But the shipping is expensive.
I struggle with getting us English books for kids in germany- but there are some used o like book stores I’d suggest you try in Germany before ordering through Amazon.com and paying such high fees. I remember Berlin having a great used online book store.
Order (used or sometimes also new) books on medimops.de instead. No import issues and you’re being more eco-friendly.
