Il voto online di AirBaltic per un nome per i suoi nuovi aerei è stato saccheggiato dai cechi. Ora l’aereo chiamato “Kunda” (in ceco “P*ssy”) volerà a Praga.

Gotta love how AirBaltic rolled with the joke instead of discarding the result as these online votes to name something usually end. They’re like, okay, you guys asked for it, so not only will we actually name the plane like that, but we’ll also make sure this plane will fly your way.

I didn’t get the joke behind “The Estonian city of Püssi, whose name can also provoke giggles in Czech, secured the second position” when I read it, I’m taking the giggles come from the word as if it were English rather than Czech?

Well, I guess a lot of Czech people want to check out Kunda irl so it should be a boost for tourism lmao.
